Add Bananas To Your Skincare Routine

Aside from the fact that they are delicious, bananas are a quick and easy addition to your natural skin care routine.  


Skin Softner

The quickest way to smooth and soften dry skin is to mash a ripe banana with a fork and rub it all over your face. Leave on for about 10 minutes and rinse well with lukewarm water. You just have to try this one!
If you are in need of a good facial mask:
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon of honey and
  • 1 tablespoon of fine ground oats
  • 1 egg yolk.
Mash all ingredients together until you have a smooth consistency. Dampen your face and apply.  Leave the mixture on your face for about 20 minutes and rinse well. It’s easy peasy and it works!
Note: For oily skin substitute 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt for the egg yolk.

Finally bananas are a natural source of potassium which helps the circulatory system deliver oxygen to the brain and aids in regulating blood pressure.
